Auckland School Nurses Group Study Day
We have confirmed that Kylie Elsbury-Dawson from CCS Disability Action can come and present around ableism and language. We were also hoping to see if a couple of young people would also like to come and share about their experiences of accessing School Based Health Services (SBHS), what worked for them and what they really wish school nurses knew about working with young people who may have a disability that they think we should all actually know!
The venue will be at Albany Senior School and the time slot is between 1-2.30 (for both Kylie and the rangatahi). This time we’ve already thought about transport and are able to provide the transport – would just need some estimates as last time.
Happy to jump on zoom and chat to everyone or again come see everyone face to face – whatever will work best for everyone.
The ASNG is usually well attended – between 60-80 school nurses usually come so not expecting to have to cancel like last time!!
Look forward to hearing from you when you can,
Ngā mihi,
