Hutt City Council City Centre Feedback

Kia ora,

I am reaching out to invite you to have your say on Hutt City Council’s long-term plans for Lower Hutt’s city centre. Over the next decade, the city centre will be transformed through major infrastructure investment, and we would like to hear what is important to you.

If you have some time in the upcoming weeks, I would like to meet with you alongside a member of our city planning team to hear:

• What’s working well in our city centre right now
• What isn’t working well or what you find challenging in our city centre
• Where you’d like to see improvements
• Your ideas for our streets! Is there something you’ve always wanted to change? Have you seen something cool in another city?

I will primarily be focusing on accessibility features and hazards, but I’d also like to hear about anything you want to see changed in the city centre. If you don’t tend to go to the city centre, we equally want to hear why not and what needs to change for you to go there. We can meet anywhere you are most comfortable, or can take a stroll around the city centre to identify hazards and changes together. Please pass this email along to any organisations or people who would be interested in participating.
