Pacific Services Strategic Reference Group

Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council is wanting to hear from Tāngata Whaikaha Pacific youth from across the motu with lived experience to join us and 14 other Pacific businesses in the services sector to influence change in the vocational education sector.

Our mission as a Workforce Development Council is to serve and help respond to the Service sector’s current and future workforce needs through the power of vocational education and producing skills and qualifications that meet industry needs.

The inaugural establishment of the Pacific Services Strategic Reference Group is to provide Ringa Hora with a strategic view, diverse expertise, and advice to contribute towards a thriving Pacific workforce of the future that is equipped with the skills and talent required for success. The insights gained from this group will help to achieve and inform the following:

Lead, shape and inform the 2025 Pacific Services Workforce Plan for the services sector and
Provide feedback based on future Qualification reviews.
You will need to be available to attend the first Hui in person on Wednesday 24 July 2024 (all day) and travel will be paid for. This will be followed by 3-4 online hui over the next 12 months.
